The series continue from previous episode where Edward & Lin fighting Envy monster mode.

-Edward and Lin are badly hurt fighting Envy, there’s no possible way for them to win fighting this hideous monster.

- Edward than realize, human faces that are on Envy’s body is living soul crying for help in agony and pain. Some are asking for Edward to kill them to let them move on. Edward hesitated to keep on fighting as he now feels he would hit innocent people.

- Seeing Edward non resistance mode, Envy swallow him while Lin just watch , not able to help as he’s badly hurt. Perhaps more rib has been broken.

- While being swallowed, Edward saw a broken piece of monument from Xerxes. Edward then saw philosopher stone which remind him other piece of monument he saw in Xerxes a few episodes before. He then realizes that they can actually walk out from this world by transmuting through the real gate.

- He revitalize, got out and made a deal with Envy.

- But transmuting means you need to offer something in return. Envy told Edward that he may use those souls in his body. Edward hesitate but perhaps he felt relieve as those souls thank him for letting them free.

-Inside, the figure who took Edward’s hand and leg smirk as Edward did not came here to get his body back.

- Edward is now in front of 2 doors. At the door behind him stood another boy. Edward suddenly calls him Al and runs towards him but the door pulls him back to the real world.

- Al’s body said, I can’t go with you. You’re not my soul. And Edward swore to Al’s body that he would come back to get him.

-While King Bradley reminiscence how he became homunculus and was chosen to be Fuhrer by father. Turns out that he is once human till they insert philosopher stone inside him. He has been train to be king ever since he was babies. And killing subordinate was just means to get into higher rank / status.
