Sumika and the gang decided going to the pool courtesy of Aoi’s mom. Kazama initially does not want to come as to not want her brother identity found out by Aoi, yet they decided things will be ok if Kazama didn’t get near Aoi and talk to her.

When they got there, Sumika realize this plan isn’t going to work. Aoi is not close to anyone in party other than just Sumika itself. Suddenly Kiyori notice some big differences in the team. The big boob’s team and the kiddo team. Kiyori then took Aoi and Miyako off to play by themselves leaving plenty of room for Kazama and Sumika, – with Tomoe tagging along as well.

Sumika realize this is just like a date. She kept thinking of ecchi stuff on Kazama. She was acting all crazy and to look good in front of Kazama, Sumika invites Tomoe on a duel after seeing Tomoe’s athletic board jump. They duel on every type of swim activities butterfly, freestyle, you name it and Tomoe wins all.

After she loses, Sumika lay down resting on Kazama laps. Kazama was surprised that Sumika lose to Tomoe. Back in middle school Sumika was the tallest and never lost to anyone. Sumika whines about how she’s tired and Tomoe still can swim after all those duelling and then she realizes that she’s on Kazama’s lap and Kazama is brushing her hair ever since. Looking at Kazama, she smiles.

Tomoe was tagging along so she saw everything that goes between these two. I love Tomoe.. She’s uber supporting.

Aoi came back of those thrilling playground she went with Kiyori before and saw Sumika’s teaching Kazama to swim. When she saw them, she realizes those two weren’t just normal friend. She realizes that what those two are having is similar to what she quotes of a true love between girls.

When Sumika came to talk to her later, Aoi mumble to herself, was she been bothering them all this time.

On the train back home, Tomoe said poetic things on train, regarding how she felt love is most beautiful when you do not realize what you’re feeling. And she admires those who force through rough end, and those who had to stop after finding it’s hard enough.
Then she asks what does Aoi thinks of them – Sumika and Kazama. Aoi reply that she thinks they like each other and not only that, they also didn’t realize what each other is feeling for another. Tomoe response was Aoi is a strong girl for noticing and admitting that.

- In manga, Tomoe did not ask Aoi directly rather she just ask Aoi her definition of love, and Aoi answers her question base on what she just found out about Sumika and Kazama.
